Since there is a freshwater forum in the sanctuary, I decided to start my FW tank thread. My system:

Marineland 27g cube
Marineland Doublebright LED
Fluval C3 hob filter
Via Aqua heater

Inhabitants:
2 zebra angelfish
5 neon tetras
4 bubble red eye tetras
4 golden white cloud tetras
2 3 striped cory
3 zebra nerite snails
3 tiger nerite snails

Plants:
1 Wate wisteria
2 anubias nana, 1 attached to a lava rock, 1 semi attached to bogwood
3 Argentine swords
3 Kyoto
5 hygrophilia

Some of the images are a bit blurry, sorry. Those freshwater fish don't pose.

I still maintain a 55 gal freshwater tank but I have it completely self maintained, guppies to breed feeders, raphiel cat fish to eat feeders, pleco to keep tank clean, electric blue lobster to keep bottom clean, plant life to feed guppies... I literally only have to clean out the filter maybe once a month

Update on my fw system. My angels have laid eggs about 4-5 times and ate the first couple of batches and the others haven't worked out for some reason. I didn't plan on breeding them but it's been interesting to watch. Here's the latest photo from yesterday evening.

Very nice John I've been a freshwater enthusiast since 1984. Haven't had 1 in about 10 years but I still appreciate them.
I like what you have going there with the rocks or pebbles have you ever considered trying sand scaping?
