I just started cycling my tank and want to add hermit crabs with shrimp?

I just started cycling my tank today and I wanted to know when I could add some hermit crabs and maybe a skunk cleaner shrimp. It's is a 29 gallon saltwater tank with 10 pounds of dead rock and 7 pounds of love rock and 30 pounds of aragonite sand.

If i had it to do over again, i never woulda put a single crab in my tank.

As for hermit crabs it's a love hate thing. I like watching them walking around rock and stirring up the sand and they are good scavengers too. However, be prepared to replace the snail they kill, they like to walk on corals causing them to close for a while. If you really want them and your tank is ready I would add maybe two of them with some snails and see how it goes.
