How To Remove Algae From Coral

I recused a Blasto from a friends tank but I noticed that it has algae growing out of it. Once I noticed it, I got some tweezers and pulled it out, but it keeps coming back. It seems like it's growing out of the coral itself...

You might want to do some research on a Hydrogen Peroxide dip. I think it's like one cup of Peroxide to four cups of salt water or something like that. It affects all corals differently, but it has been known to treat GHA, Dinoflagellates etc. GL.

I have a bubble with the same prob I can scrub it with a tooth brush But I'm afraid of tearing the tissue along the edges. Thinking of dipping in some chemical is just as scary to me.

That's a tough one! I hope someone has a good solution. :fingerscrossed:
Do you think it is just GHA? If the stems on it are more of a dry feel than slimy....I would be concerned that it might be bryopsis.
Can't tell from your picture.
