Hood hinge swap

I have a RSM 130. Is it possible to change the hood hinges to that of the 130D. If not how do i do maintenance on the system?

I don't think so... the was one of the "big" improvements Red Sea made in the "Deluxe" model 130D

on the 130 models you have to pull the back pin to get the hood "all" the way up...

My 1st tank was a 130D, but sure some 130 owners can confirm.

No they aren't interchangeable, personally I just took the hinges off on my 130. I always have a helper near by if I need to have the lid all the way up, and this way I don't have to pull the pins every time.

in reality you dont need the hood fully up unless you are removing something from the back chamber,i cut a piece of dowel to use as a prop when i remove a pump or skimmer for cleaning,my tank backs onto a window otherwise i would put a hook on the wall
