Hi my name is Erik. I recently purchased a 40g aquatop Recife eco. This will be my 3rd reef build in ten years.

I’ve been fairly successful in the past but am a little nervous about how this tank works. I’ve got water, sand and ‘cured’ live rock in the tank and a power head and heater on. Everything went into the tank 2 days ago.

SG is about 1.025

Does anyone have experience with this tank? It has a kind of separate area that appears to function as a sump refugium area and it’s a little confusing. Just hoping for some guidance, thoughts or comments.
