First, welcome aboard. There are so many questions before we can answer. So, you'll have to give us more info about your tank. You can post pictures after 5 posts.
Anemones do weird things, so you never know. I can tell you that they die very quickly. So, if it isn't dead, so far so good.

Sorry to read that your are having to be concerned so about your anemone.
How long have you had your tank running & what are your tank parameters?
What kind of lighting do you have on your tank? Has the anemone been eating?
It's been several hours since your post...how does the nem look now?

The species of anemone you have is not an easy one to keep.
It's listed as "difficult" and hard to acclimate.

I hope it's doing OK still but unless you have a very stable tank you might not should get another Malu.
