HELP! Growths on Porcupine Puffer

Hi,
Our pufferfish has these white fleshy like growths mostly on his underside (you can see 5 in the photo attached) and 1 on the top of his head (also seen in the photo just to the right of his far fin) he seems absolutely fine and is acting completely normally. I just can’t really see anything similar in other photos of porcupine puffers. We’ve only had him about a month and these aren’t a sudden new occurrence, I’ve just only really noticed it and started looking into it in the last couple of days.
Just wondering if anyone can shed any light as to what it might be and if we should be concerned
Cheers

They look like the spines that will protect him when he puffs up. I believe they will extend and make it difficult or painful for the attacker.

Cheers, the pictures on the thread you linked me to are exactly what our puffer has. Good to see he’s not the only one.
They definitely aren’t spines, they look more like skin tags if anything
