Getting back into the saddle

I'm relatively new to this field. I have a Red Sea Max S-400 which holds 105gal and a Nano tank of 14 gal. My large tank crashed last year and I'm just starting to set it up again after a long break. I'm filling it now after cleaning and detailing all the parts. Got new replacement parts for the pump (impeller blade broke) and C-Skim pump just cause it seems not to be fully functional. I'm not looking to be super ambitious- just to have a little happy place for coral and a few fish. My last set up crashed from Ich.

Just about every in this hobby for any length of time has had their reef system crash. The successful people learn from their mistakes, and start over again.
