Hi Eyal
:welcomera Welcome to Reef Sanctuary!
I only have one MP10 in my RSM 250 & it seems to be doing a good job.
Hope you will start a tank thread & share your progress with us :D

One MP40 will be just fine.I run two MP10s and can see how one 40 would work well.

Thank you all for your replies
Of course when I will start my tank I'll open a thread
So 1 mp40 is enough ?
I wont need another pump ?
Do 2 pumps mp40 located one in front of the other
too much and could make trouble ?

I'd be thinking that TWO MP40 would be a bit much in a RSM 250.... If you want to run TWO, I'd say MP10s would be a better option.
But that's coming from a RSM 250 person with only 1 MP10.....now you got me wanting to add another one :ponder2::yup:
Looking forward to your thread

I have my MP40 in the left of the tank in the middle. It seems fine there and I don't have any other pumps

Eyal - take into account what corals you want to keep too - I have a huge hammer coral, that can barley stand my MP10 at full speed.

Two MP40s running full speed would be way to much flow for some soft & lps corals. Two MP10's might be perfect

Thank you for your advice
I will buy 1 pump mp40 :winner:
And definitely will keep you posted :swmfish:

I run one MP40, works amazing.

Before running it, my corals would never fully open because they were always too pissed off at either getting a direct flow or no flow. Good choice!
