Morning everyone,
We have been getting all of our equipment based on a 55 gallon tank. Now I have recently been given a 75 gallon tank which I would rather use because it is wider ( and slightly increases my fish selection). MY Catalina light fixture is fine for the 75 gallon and I think I need another powerhead (right now we have 2 Maxi Jet 1200's). Here's where I think we have a problem. The protein skimmer I bought is an AquaC Remora Pro, rated for up to 120 gallons (which was fine for the 55 gallon). My questions is, can I buy a smaller protein skimmer and put it in my sump (to work with the AquaC) or should I just buy a bigger protein skimmer so that there is only one. Thanks for any advice!
