Cyano or coralline?

    Is this coralline or cyano algae?

    Its very soft and comes off the back glass easily new to hobby but not too sure[​IMG]

    Since it comes off the glass easily, it's more likely to be cyano. Most coraline algaes require quite a bit of effort to remove them.

    Don't panic though. Most new tanks go through a period of algae blooms of various types. Maintain the water and in time things should settle down.
