HELP! Considering a rsm c250 for tropical

Been considering a rsm c250 for tropical. Is there room to add a fluval fx6 canister as my source of filtration ? Or is the stock filtration good? I like to create good water movement. Like the look of the Red Sea tank and it would fit perfectly where I want it.

When you get a tank, start a tank thread & share your tank with us so we can follow along, we love pics

Lots & lots of RSM tanks here on RS in the RSM Club, very few run canister filtration, these tanks work great stock, you want need a canister & with good husbandry skills you will have great success stock.

Thank you for the welcome. I'm hoping the rsm makes a good tropical tank. I think I just need to remove the skimmer and change the lights and ready to cycle. I'll check out the other threads , cheers.

I'm gathering you mean convert to freshwater?

I am not going to claim to be an expert, but I've thought about this before.

Basically, I was going to change to more appropriate spectrum T5s and add a canister filter. After that, I think you are good to go.

Others can chime in if I'm wrong.
