Can someone ID this coral for me? It's green and it also extends its tentacles.

possibly galaxea? can you get a photo under lighting daylights? That will help.

I just watched a 6 part video some1 put up today, and if it is a galaxea they can sting you pretty bad, so be careful and wear gloves. pretty coral though.

I dont think its galaxea I have a nice one and that dont look anything like it ,, it looks more like ricordia to me,,?? but thats a guess,, I need a better pic with less blue

+3 to galaxea. I would recommend placing it away from other corals because it can get sweeper tentacles up to several inches long.

Bingo! It's definitely a Galaxea, although it looks more like this:

But the Video hit's the nail right on the head! AWESOME! the coral was given to me but I wasn't sure what it was. Thanks for the ID!
