I will try its tough, my digital XLR is in china with a buddy, I have been using the Iphone 4. More pics on route..

We blew it up in paint and it sure does look like an Octocoral of some type. We are thinking they look like very similar to "flower pot" polyps.

I vote let it go n watch the trumpet coral progress. Then make the remove it decision.

As said by GrendelPrime it is true it would have been much better if you would have shared better pictures with us, because from this pictures it is really difficult for us to identify which algae are they. I have tried much harder to identify the algae from above shared pictures but hardly getting any idea. We are eagerly waiting for the updated thread with new images, so that things get easier to identify.
