I am starting out on my new 90g tank, I went to the lfs and they told me I could get my tank cycled with in 1 week if I used this stuff called Stability, It's suppose to cycle the tank faster. Weill I used it and now my ammonia level is through the roof.. How can I bring it down? every thing else the levels are perfect.

Any advise is appriciated!!

If you don't have livestock in the tank... forget the LFS advise (can cycle a tank in 1 week) & allow the tank to cycle, the ammonia will convert on it's own into nitrites & then the nitrites will convert to nitrates - once this happens you can start water changes to get rid of the nitrates.

May take a few weeks to get through the "cycle", but it's the best way to proceed.

yeah i wouldn't do anything at this point..just let the tank take care of it self and never listen to the gimmicks the lfs try to blow up Ur back side..id keep on testing everyday to see where ur water pars are

cycle six weeks at the soonest wouldn't add fish till 12 weeks you want pods to start growing first, oh you couldn't tell me that when I started but it's best
