Algae Id - single strands

I'm starting to see these single brown/possibly dark red fine strands of algae popping up in a few places in the tank. They always stretch across 2 branches of coral or a gap in a rock.

The best way to describe it is it looks like a piece of my wife's hair git in the tank and then snagged onto a piece of coral.

I saw 1 this morning and then when I looked really close I found a bunch more throughout the tank. Almost unnoticeable, but once you see it you see more.

The picts I took with my phone were useless. I'll get better ones tonight if my description is not enough.

I have had lots of problems with algae, until I see a pic of it I can not begin to tell you what it is.
