Hey all

Got a problem. I added a yellow watchman goby to 130 last weekend. He is eating and doing great but today for third time, I have found him in the overflow box! Each time I get him back into tank and he goes about his business. Any ideas on how to keep him from taking another dive in?

Thx

Mike

You can use a piece of the plastic gutter guard (with the smallest holes you can find) sold at Lowes or Home Depot as a top cover for the overflow, or something in that direction. Good luck!

Either what tom said or feed him there. Personally my overflow is boring. I could use a little yellow.

........wet floors add character.

Mine does it too. It'll do it less over time, but if something disturbs his spot, back to the skimmer he goes. He used to stick his head through the teeth and just hang there, but then he couldn't open his gills.

They can jump, so be ready for it to hit the floor when you are getting him out.
