Project to be started in a few months:

110 Gallon Tank 60 x 18.5 x 19.25H (Drilled by LFS)
Should I have 2 holes drilled..One 1500GPH overflow box and one for a return.

Is 1500Gph ok for a 110G ? (The sump will probably hold 20-30G water)
Sump is a gonna be a 40Gal breeder DIY build.

I'm gonna paint the back of the display tank black and put it into a wall.

2x4 Stand and hopefully small sheet rock room for just tank stuff.

I'm gonna start off with 2 Aqua Illuminations Leds and see. (30" per light)

Should I start dosing in the tank I have now. 65g RR
Calc is at 420 DKH at 9 ? Kent Marine Tech CB Part A + B ?

I was thinking of running a bag of carbon and phosban where the Inflow is. So that it goes thru a sock drips onto eggcrate with the 2 bags then flows into the skimmer section then refugium then return.

So I would be covered by removable Carbon and phosban and be 2 part dosing Calc and Alk as needed too.

I was also thinking about setting up a dosing pump from a couple gallon jug that sits near the sump for ro/di top off. It would be pumped into the return chamber slowly to replace evap.

I was also thinking of doing a 4" sandbed in refugium with cheato and shaving brush.

So if I do this set up is there anything I can improve any ideas?
Do I need an upflow reactor or would Bags + dosing be equally as good?

Since I'm doing a 110gallon I'm still looking into stocking.
I'll post a list when I have more time.

Good luck to you! One word of advice, if you can go wider (say 24 inches) then I think that's best as it will give you more area to work with.
