Hi;

I would like to share the evolution of my RSM 250L (I have also a RSM 130D) with you.

Equipment:

  • 2x tunze 6055 with 7096 controller
  • 1x TECO TC15
  • 1x Bubble magus bm-t01 dosing pump & three part DIY additive (Kh, Mg and Ca)
  • No mechanical filters, no stock sponges at all
  • 20% water changes every two weeks

Did you glue frags to the back wall? Even the plastic overflow gate.

Also, how many fish are in there...seems like 20+...do they all have their own hiding spot and territory? I would think that type of space would be limited with a minimalistic scape.

Modulok, Yes, there a some corals glued to the back wall, I had to choose betwen corals and coralline algae ;)

I've been experimenting with different combinations of fish. Note that the rock is very porous, with many holes where the smaller fish can hide (eg gramma or Fire Dartfish). I have not observed significant territorial problems when there were more fish in the tank, but now I have only 7:

2x Ocellaris
2x Gramma loreto
1 Flavescens
1x Cirrhilabrus rubriventralis
1x Zanclus cornutus

I also wonder about the fish you have. Almost seems to many plus some larger fish that would need bigger tanks. Just my thoughts! Tank looks nice. Check my red sea max out if you get a chance!
