    When you tested your friend's water anything at all could be in tap water. If it is well water the number goes up even farther. As he said, in a not very nice way, reverse osmosis water will read 0 if the membranes are functioning correctly. I don't have a RO unit here. I distill all my own water.

    We've had one with a 1200 for going on 3 years and it has worked perfectly with no troubles at all. After the garbage we've owned before the Remora we are so happy to have it.
