Adjust your water level or your surface skimmer so the top of the water is entering the grates.

After 1 hour of operation. Skimmer is not broken in, skimmer has has no adjustments made after installing.

I do, but I'm the guy selling them LOL. Should you dump your 9002? I don't know that all depends on if you want to spend money or not. The 9001 is a long over due upgrade to the 9002. It has so many modern features like a needle wheel, surface skimming capability, easy air adjustment...

I don't see why it wouldn't. The dims are 4 x 2.5 x 8 inches It may be a little undersized for the 250 though, it is rated up to 37 gallons of actual water.
