    Tank turned 49 this year

Isn't that just a poster you can find at the mall? I've seen it framed in many different offices, body shops etc over the years.

    HELP! What is this?

Like mentioned above what your seeing is quite normal and really nothing to worry about, but if you want to remove it just get an old credit card or drivers license and slide it straight down the front of the glass. This should remove the algae growth without disturbing the sand bed too much. GL.

    Copperband Butterflyfish Advise

I wouldn't even purchase the fish unless I saw it eat two or three different kinds of prepared foods at the LFS.

    Help....bristle worms barage

I'm not sure if a wrasse in a 34 gallon tank is the best solution. Some of those worms might be bigger than that wrasse itself. And that mouth that they have, unless they can swallow the whole thing it should take some doing to kill it and then eat the remains. Hmm... Still leaning towards...

    Help....bristle worms barage

While limiting the food source will work, this can take quite awhile before you see any results. For a quick fix you could just lure them out into the open with a piece of shrimp on a hook and then siphon them out one by one. You might want to turn the lights & the the powerheads off when you...

This doesn't sound good... You might want to research Brown Jelly Disease/Syndrome just in case.

    HELP! Corals disappearing

Did the polyps just up and disappear overnight or was there still some tissue attached to the skeleton? The polyps may have just bailed out, in which case they're probably lodged in the rocks somewhere. If you can you might want to post a picture of your tank and list the parameters.

I got Grease....and no Olivia Newton John!

Those Koralia 425 pumps definitely leave something to be desired when it comes dow to GPH IME. I'd definitely get another one or perhaps two and position them somewhere in your tank so that the top of the water is quite turbulent. A far as a skimmer goes one that skims the surface of the water...

    HELP! Leather Finger black muck

You could try, but you'll just upset the coral more and if that is in fact Necrosis it will come right back. Leather corals can be very temperamental sometimes, so IMO the best thing to do is just leave it alone for a day or two and see what happens.

    Colt and White tipped leather

Like mentioned above both of these corals can be pruned quite easily, so you might want to just let them grow until a problem develops and then you'll have to step in. GL.

    HELP! Leather Finger black muck

No it's not dead, just extremely upset at the moment and possibly sick. You'll just have to keep an eye on it and see what happens.

    HELP! Leather Finger black muck

Black developing on a soft coral is sometimes related to Necrosis, so you might want to do some research and see what you can find. I know cutting off the infected areas is sometimes recommended, but it doesn't look like your coral is too bad yet. GL.
