Coral growing on a snail shell?

I got this snail the other day in a group of them. It looks to be a coral of some sort. Any ideas

Interesting. Just a guess but maybe an encrusting Montipora. It looks like it has polyps on it?

LMBO...Could very well be! Not long ago, I aquired a small frag of Xenia from a fellow reefer that was attached to, what I thought, was a tiny piece of LR. Xenia was doing great, until it started walking around my tank! Apparently, the frag was attached to a nice sized snail shell (vacant), and one of my blue-legged hermits moved in. The Xenia never did care for the travelin' show!

8C97A9B7-00E7-4DA9-BD03-F998F59B1BDF.jpeg So if anyone can help this is what I found a couple a days ago on my snail ?? Not sure what it is at first thought maybe some type of coral but then second guessed that because it’s growing to fast. Any suggestions or ideas
