Can anyone let me know what to do with this coral, is it dead? Do I remove it ? I have inherited a marine tank with 2 clown fish, anemone and crabs but not sure what’s going on with this coral and whether the crabs have been at it ...all advice welcome

Not totally dead, but definitely withdrawn.
Looks like a flowerpot coral maybe, if so, hard to keep these more than a year.
I don't use any crabs, they become problems.

The easiest way to keep corals is by making, deploying and keeping stable, the 8 major saltwater parameters and the availability of light in the correct color and intensity.

Then everything you drop does great.

Xenia, zooanthids, leathers, photosynthetic gorgonians, green stars, are quite hardy....but can spread very fast.
