I have a few questions that probably have simple answers. I am more interested in the legal aspect of it.
If I purchased a specific coral, and in this case I will use an "ORA Frogskin Acropora" as an example. Can I later on frag it and sell the frags as the same? Is ORA the only entity that can sell that coral under that specific name?
I have a few name brand things, and though I am not impressed with it I am starting to see where I could create 20-50 frags of some of my things over the next year. I don't need a tank full of 3-5 corals spread about. I don't think I would have issue getting involved with a local swap meet.
I just want to check before I step on toes. Should I contact these "brands" and ask permissions?
