Day 8 AM:

pH: 8.0
Ammonia: .25 ppm
Nitrite: 0.00 ppm
Nitrate: 5.0 ppm

I never really saw a Nitrite spike at all, and I was testing two times a day, highest I saw was .50 ppm. I thought the Nitrite would spike as high as the Ammonia levels?

We also have some hitchhikers from the live rock we bought at the LFS. Any idea what these are?

The pictures are too small for me to make anything out but at day 8 you are still toward the beginning of the cycle and may not have had your nitrite spike yet.

Day 10 AM:

Salinity: 1.025
pH: 8.0
Ammonia: (between 0.25 ppm and 0.00 ppm)
Nitrite: 0.00 ppm
Nitrate: (between 5.0 ppm and 0.00 ppm)

The ATO has been keeping the salinity very stable and temperature seems to only fluctuate between 80-81.2 degrees during the day.

I am thinking once Ammonia gets all the way back down to 0.00 ppm I will dose the ammonium chloride I have again to see how fast it goes back down to 0.00 ppm again.
