Tiny critters

Hi all,

Any ideas what these 2 things are. They are next to a frozen mysis shrimp head for an idea on how small they are.

It looks like they are in little snail shells. But I may be wrong.

Also, any ideas what this crab is. He has been living on my sun coral for 2 months and hasnt left it. Should I leave him in peace?

The video looks like tiny hermits But I guess marine bugs have legs, the 2nd pic is a hoary crab which in my opinion, needs to be turned into fishfood !

Would be great if they were little hermits. Hopefully I have more in the display tank as I think the crab ate them while I was waiting for identification

Hermits can't make there own shells though so ???

The tiny critters look like ostracods.

The crab looks bumpy, probably best to take it out. If you have a sump you can put it in there. Crabs make for interesting pets, as long as they can't hurt your other tank inhabitants.
