Just optimizing space for more corals...
I think I see your problem. You can't make space for more corals, when all of the space is taken up by coral already.

The tank looks great after the rescape.

Thanks again Glenn. I am always glad to look at your photos. The colors, and volume is amazing as usual.

I think any tank has the potential to become covered with corals given enough time and quality conditions, but making it look good also takes time. Thanks for making it look simple!

I also do enjoy the FTS where I wonder what kind of cute little yellow fish it is.....only to find out it is a full grown tang. That tank is huge!

Thanks for your comment.
I am glad i did the rescape.
Maintenance of the surface branches was spoiling the joy for me.

It is easy when you get all things right and sit back to watch it grow.
This is the only way of reefing that make me last longer in this hobby.

Yeah.. funny how things size down when make a FTS.

The colonies were quite large. Only when you look from the top you see how large the are

Glenn are those feather starfish? (comatulida)
They are...

Comanthus comatula, crinoids, featherstar.

The are also very fascinating animals.
They walk through the tank and every day i see them on a different spot.
Makes evry day a sport to look them up.
They are filterfeeders and not recommended for novice reefers.
Most keep them a few weeks, at the most 8weeks.
It seems feeding rotifier can extend their live in our reeftank . This tip i got from Tim Wijgerde phd.

I have kept them up to 10 months before in my reef. Some I kept one year already in my dymico system.
Before without rotifier..
So we will see what feeding rotifiers will bring us in the future.
