Just an update to start out the week. Tested water today, all looked good but ammonia was still present. Came to conclusion cycle was through but I was feeding too much ( only three times a day for two clowns... They looked hungry). Bought some Red Sea salt since my IO isn't in yet, did a 10g water change at 1.026 and in the corals went. Did a 10 minute dip in bayer before hand. Have them placed for now with my Kessil at its lowest intensity, waiting on wire for controller which should be here tomorrow. Kinda struggling with flow right now as I'm nervous about how the hammer was looking in front of mp10 so have it off.

Had a choice between a gold hammer or super sweet Symphyllia Wilsoni so Wednesday I'll be headed there to pick up something nice!

Guys I have a question. My ph has been around 7.7 since I started up tank, yesterday before I added coral I used Red Sea coral pro salt and did my water change, conductivity 34.8 with ph of 7.99 in tank. Since doing water change my conductivity got up to 35.5 and ph down to 7.77 as of right now. Lights have been on in tank since 6:15 this morning. I have mixed another 5g batch of water to use this afternoon with a salinity of 1.026 using refractometer. Not sure what ph is on it since I have not yet tested. If the ph is 8.3 like the bucket states, and I do my wc will this hurt the coral bringing ph up. Also, why would my ph continue to drop back to 7.7? Thanks

Graph shows everything that's happened since 6:00 yesterday afternoon. I need to do a kh and calcium test today, and I need a test kit for magnesium but I'm just going to assume that all are in check. Perhaps I need Kalk?

Anyone have any suggestions? Perhaps Kalk in ATO? Want to get this fixed before next coral arrives tomorrow. It was $$$$

Could this drop in pH be due to switching off the circulation pump? Maybe get more surface water movement?? I'm not sure but I hope it's resolved soon!

I turned the pump off for the picture, maybe 30 seconds. The pumps run 24/7

How do you like the light? Think it's overkill or a good fit
Love the light, but overkill. Also, I think the fact that it turns of at 12-15% vs 0% sucks and I am trying to sell it if my purchase on Radion goes through. When using with apex, you cannot really do a dawn dusk because the color will still be at 40% when the light just turns off because the intensity gets to 15%.

Ok few things to update..
Bought a Radion with mount and will be selling the Kessil, one of the heads of the hammer had looked somewhat iffy when I bought it and it's taken a turn for the worse. Dipped for 20 minutes with lugols today and hoping for the best. Turned down the intensity on light to 20% as well. Purchased a better test kit and got ph up by adding Kalk to the ATO.

Ph- 8.01
Mag - 1500
Calcium - 470
Conductivity - 34.7
Kh - 8.7

All other corals seem fine and clowns happy as ever

Removed all the sand and followed by a 10g waterchange and all seems well. Got the ph up to 8.13 during the day and 8.04 for the night.

Happy as can be, ph is staying normal and fluctuating like everyone else in the worlds now. And it fluctuates correctly finally! Everything looking great. Especially the Symphyllia Wilsoni that is so inflated its tissue is touching the glass...
