My personal taste is for the Red Sea Blue Bucket. I find the Alk levels too high with the Coral Pro Bucket.I see no problem using the RS Coral Pro salt... many a tank has started with it...

I don't have the NYOS on any base. It just sits on the floor. Off the top of my head I think it has to sit in 22cms of water, which is about the right height of water in the Sump. In the small section before the Return Pump I have a bag of Carbon. Sometimes I also put a layer of filter floss in there as well. I have no filter on the Return Pump Nozzle.Evening
I’m getting micro bubbles back in my tank from the sump, so my new nyos skimmer is sat where the old one was but on the base, the small section before the return pump is, what do you guys have in that part? On the return pump do you put a filter on the nozzle part?
Puffers are very nice but they eat coral.Thank you just going to keep a eye on tests now and let things settle once things are stable I’d like
3 blood shrimp
5 chromis
2 clowns
I’d love a puffer but don’t think it’s right for what I have
Hello Luke, yes you can add Ca to the tank but I would not recommend to use NOPOX when you are only at 0.75 only. That number is fine.Evening these are the results of my tests Iv just done..... can I add some reef Foundation to increase my mg and calcium also add some no3 po4-x to decrease my nitrate?
