Candy cane coral (trumpet coral)

So I've had this green candycane coral for a couple months now and it seems to be doing well. One of the polyps is even starting to grow a new mouth..however it's the left side that is doing well. The right side of this coral is not doing so well, it's the same skeletal structure just different polyps...the right side has a different color and the polyps are never "puffy" or pillow like...does any one have any ideas as to why this would be?

Dkh=11.5 hanna
P.h=8.06 hanna
Mag=1500 red sea pro
Phos=0.4 hanna
No3=(undetectable) red sea pro

Ughhh...I meant 0.04...and I just tested today its 0.03 now

Welp here is the candy cane I'm speaking of ....(thanks for the picture link) the one side is always fluffy. But the right side always looks bad. This is the very same coral

You have another coral, maybe a blasto real close.


Your calcifiers are all in the high range level of the band, but if they are always like that, then stability beats out level.

Maybe the flow from the filter or powerhead pump is strong on the side that has trouble

Perhaps...most of my flow is indirect tho. I dont know, it's the strangest thing
